SHOPPING

Where are you located?
We have a studio and an office in Blackrock, Co. Dublin, Ireland and an office in Copenhagen, Denmark. All of our products are currently shipped from Dublin. 
 
Do you have a shop?
Nordic Makers is principally an online shop. From June 2015 to June 2017, we also had a shop in Dublin, Ireland. We are also planning on running a series of pop-up shops in Copenhagen, Dublin and elsewhere in Europe from 2018 onwards. How do I make a purchase?
Simply navigate to your selected product(s) using our categories in the top panel, and press the “Add to cart” button. You can hereafter continue shopping or go to checkout. At checkout you can adjust quantities. Finally, insert and confirm your shipping and payment details. After placing your order, you will be sent an email confirming that it has been received.

Do the products look exactly as they appear on your website?
We make every effort to ensure colours appear as realistic as possible in our images on our website. However, due to the constraints of digital reproduction on different web browsers, we cannot guarantee exact colour depiction. Every care is taken to ensure descriptions and measurements are accurate, however slight variations may occur. For all items made from natural products, such as leather, ceramics and wood, it is not possible to guarantee items will have the same colour, shade, pattern or finish as items viewed on our website, due to the inherent nature of such products.
 
How do I change currency?
To change currency, simply select the appropriate currency on the top left hand corner of our website (bottom of the page when using a mobile device). Please note that you will be charged in EUR when checking out.

 PAYMENT & SECURITY
 
What payment methods do Nordic Makers accept?
We accept all major payment cards securely through Stripe and PayPal. Please contact us if you would like to pay via bank transfer.
 
Is it safe to use my credit card online at Nordic Makers?
We take your personal online security very seriously. Your credit card information is processed through secure checkout systems provided by Stripe or Paypal payments (dependent on your selection).
 
Can I change my shipping address after my order has been dispatched?
We can only change or cancel an order up until the time it is dispatched. Please send us an email at info@nordicmakers.com, if you have any changes to your order.
 
How do I know if an item is in stock?
All items are in stock unless ‘Sold Out’ is displayed on the product. Please be aware that, even if an item is in your basket, it can still be bought by another customer up until the point that you complete your order. 
 
How soon can I get my order and how much will it cost?

Can I cancel or change my order?
We can change or cancel an order up until the time it is dispatched. Please send us an email at info@nordicmakers.com, if you have any changes to your order.
 
Do I have to pay VAT on my purchases?
All prices are inclusive of Irish VAT.
 
SHIPPING
 
Which countries do you ship to?
We ship to most European destinations. If you are unsure whether or not we ship to your country, please send us an email.
 
Why do you need my phone number and email address?
We need a valid email address and telephone number to contact you should any issues arise at point of delivery.
 
Where is my order?
We aim to dispatch all orders within 48 hours. You will receive an email confirmation once your order has been dispatched, and it should be delivered to you within 1-4 working days in Ireland, 2-6 working in Great Britain and 3-8 working days in the rest of the EU. Estimated delivery times are to be used as a guide only, and commence from the date of dispatch.

How will I know that you have received my order?
After placing your order, you will be sent an email confirming that it has been received. In the rare instance that any of the items you have ordered are out of stock, you will receive an email from us.

Can I track my order?
You will receive an email confirmation once your order has been dispatched. When shipping with UPS and Fastway Couriers we will send you a tracking number, so that you can track your parcel’s progress. With An Post, a tracking service is usually not possible.
                                               
RETURNS & EXCHANGES

How do I return or exchange an item?

If you intend to make a return, you must inform us at info@nordicmakers.com within 14 days of placing the order, stating the order number, whether you would like a refund or an exchange, and whether the product is faulty. If you are shipping an item over €75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We, unfortunately, cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
 
How long do I have to return the item to you?
After notifying us, products must be returned to our studio within 14 days of delivery.
 
Where do I return the items to?
Our address for all returns is: Nordic Makers, The Mews, 109 Mount Merrion Avenue, Blackrock, County Dublin, Ireland.
 
Will you pay for return shipping costs?
In case of returning or exchanging items, the customer is responsible for all shipping costs (these are covered for faulty products only).
 
How should I re-package my order?
Please ensure any breakable items are packaged securely and that all return items are sent in the same shipment to ensure that it is processed as quickly as possible. 
 
How long does the returns process take?
It can take up to 10 days for your return to be delivered back to our studio, depending on which postal service you use. You will be notified by email as soon as your return has been received and processed. 
 
Will I be refunded the full value of my order?
Any refund will be credited to the original purchaser’s card and will be exclusive of shipping costs (these are covered for faulty products and cancellations only). All sales taxes will also be refunded.
 
How long will it take for the money to be credited to my account?
This typically takes 10 working days, dependent on your bank or card issuer. Unfortunately Nordic Makers are unable to influence this.
 
Will you refund my delivery charge?
Any refund will be credited to the original purchaser’s card and will be exclusive of shipping costs (these are covered for faulty products and cancellations only).
